01Teach early and often

“Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 22:6 · ASV

02Discipline with love

“Ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath” (Ephesians 6:4). Discipline in the Bible mainly means instruction — consistent, reasonable and kind.

03Set the example

Children learn more from what parents do than what they say. Living by your values teaches them more than any lecture.
