01A real government

God’s Kingdom is a government set up by God, with Jesus Christ as King. It rules from heaven and will bring God’s will to the earth.

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.”

Matthew 6:10 · ASV

02What it will accomplish

“The God of heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed … it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

Daniel 2:44 · ASV
  • End war, poverty and injustice (Psalm 72:12–14; Isaiah 2:4).
  • Remove sickness and death (Isaiah 33:24; Revelation 21:4).
  • Turn the earth into a paradise where the righteous live forever (Psalm 37:29).

03Why it matters now

Jesus said the “gospel of the kingdom” would be preached in all the earth before the end (Matthew 24:14). That is why Jehovah’s Witnesses share this message worldwide.
